The plan is to build on top of an existing 6 floor building a further 10 stories.
A very strange proposal as they plan to build 78 flats with only 24 parking spaces. Visitors say that this whole area is under siege from parking wardens as it is, so where will all the cars go?
There is not enough car parking for the existing residents of the housing now. Some residents of older houses can purchase a parking ticket for £24 a years. But they are only allowed 2 cars per address. Those in newer housing and blocks must be provided parking by their housing associations. (????)
Block M will also contain two floors of commercial space with only 2 allocated parking spaces.
